Religious Articles from the Holy Land
After all Masses on November 7th & 8th, the Bannoura Family of Bethlehem Handicrafts will be here with hand-carved olive wood gifts from the Holy Land. Each piece, crucifix, rosary, and statue is a labor of love handcrafted by Christian families in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. For many, this sacred work is their only source of income amid ongoing hardships in the region. When you take one of these beautiful pieces home, you hold a small piece of the Holy Land and provide necessary support to Christian families in the region, helping preserve our holy sites and keep our faith alive for generations. Please visit the display after Mass and be part of their story.

Are you interested in serving the poor in our area?
We are looking for 8-12 volunteers in the parish to help rekindle the ministry of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul at Notre Dame. There's a tremendous need for people who are willing to love and serve those in our parish boundary who may be encountering a difficult time in life.
Please prayerfully consider if this is a ministry that God might be calling you to participate in. This won't be a large time commitment, and training will be provided. Your willingness to volunteer will be helpful as we continue to discern restarting this ministry.
If you are interested in learning more, please contact Laura at the Pastoral Office at (303) 935-3900 or lgillette@denvernotredame.org.

Fall Bible Study
You are invited to join our annual Fall Bible Study!
The Acts of the Apostles tells the story of the early Christian church, tracing its growth from Jerusalem to Rome. Studying Acts is valuable because it bridges the Gospels and the Epistles, shows the birth of the early church, & demonstrates the work of the Holy Spirit. This biblical book is particularly important for us as Catholics, since it reveals the historical origins of the Church, the foundational role of the Holy Spirit, origins of apostolic authority, & the roots of the sacraments.
Starting on September 21st this Bible study will take place on six consecutive Mondays
6:30 to 8:00pm in Sacred Heart Hall
Steve Smith, a Notre Dame parishioner and graduate of the Denver Catholic Biblical School, will lead the class. Please RSVP to Steve at sjsmith1892@earthlink.netto ensure we have adequate handouts & please bring your Bible!
