Lenten Bible Study: The Book of Wisdom

Starting Monday, February 23rd!

5 consecutive Mondays: February 23, March 2, 9, 16, and 23

The Book of Wisdom is the latest book of the Old Testament and provides a natural bridge to the New Testament. The author, speaking as the voice of Solomon, provides a pep talk for his audience to remember God’s faithfulness and to grow in their faith in order to be protected against the subtle attacks of their culture.

Key themes for our Lenten reflection include God's mercy and initiative, the persecution of the righteous, the nature of God’s wisdom, and spiritual discipline.

Steve Smith a graduate of the Denver Catholic Biblical School, will lead the class.

RSVP to Steve at sjsmith1892@earthlink.net and please bring your Bibles!

6:30pm-8:00pm in Sacred Heart Hall
