Wednesday, December 8, 2021 is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. On this day, we celebrate Mary’s conception without the stain of original sin in the womb of her mother, St. Anne.
The only person other than Jesus to be completely and totally perfect, without sin, Mary was preserved from the stain of sin from the very first moment of her conception by the merits of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross.
This is a holy day of obligation. Out of love for God, we gather together to celebrate the Eucharist – to give him thanks for the great gift of our heavenly mother Mary. The schedule for these celebrations of the Eucharist is below:
Tuesday, December 7, 2021: 4:00 p.m. (Anticipatory)
Wednesday, December 8, 2021: 8:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m.
