Prayer + Adoration

Mass Entrance at Notre Dame

“Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication” (Eph. 6:18).

No other earthly creature can pray. Of all his earthly creatures, God invites only human beings into intimacy with him. The French philosopher, René Descartes, taught, “Cogito ergo sum,” – “I think therefore I am.” But Catholic Christians believe instead, “Oro ergo sum,” – “I pray therefore I am.”

ADORATION – Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on the first Saturday of the month following the celebration of morning Mass, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. It also takes place on Wednesday every week from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the parish ministry center/office chapel. All are welcome.

MILITIA IMMACULATA – A prayer group that strives to increase devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. At meetings, members pray the rosary and discuss writings of its founder, Saint Maximillian Kolbe. Members are also invited to stay and make rosaries. Contact Denise Seery at 303-282-3414.
