Notre Dame Faith Formation Ministries

Getting Involved

Faith Formation Ministries

Notre Dame Parish offers a variety of faith formation ministries for all members of the parish. To get involved and help with these ministries we have the following opportunities.

Catechist and Catechist Aide — Catechists and aides teach the faith to others.  They help teach in our children’s faith formation program.  The most important characteristic for a catechist is their excitement about the faith and desire to share it with others.  Training provided.  For more information contact Jim Knowles at 303.742.2351 or

RCIA — RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is the process one goes through to become Catholic.  RCIA is for adults (and often young people) interested in being baptized and/or completing the sacraments of confirmation and first Holy Communion. We also have a need for sponsors: someone to walk this journey with those in RCIA by teaching and supporting them in their faith journey.  For more information contact Jim Knowles at 303.742.2351 or

Patriarch — Patriarch is a men’s small group ministry devoted to the formation in biblical principles for fatherly leadership. Men walk together and support one another as they grow into spiritual leaders for their families. For more information contact Cullen at

Blessed is She — Blessed is She is the women’s’ counterpart to Patriarch. The group is for women devoted to the biblical formation, fellowship, and spiritual growth within one’s vocation. For more information about this ministry, contact Cullen at
