We had a great time last weekend at our festival and Cinema on the Green! About 250 individuals and families attended and had a fantastic time. Parishioners and families gathered for picnic dinners, ice cream, popcorn, fellowship, and fun.
There was lots of entertainment, too: magicians and clowns, games and activities “ordered” the evening. Young people from the Colorado Asian Cultural Heritage Center’s Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe joined us to perform. They were outstanding in sharing with us the traditional dragon and lion dances of their people and homelands. They were even so kind as to include children AND Fr. Ed and Greg Caudle, the school principal, in their performances!
Raya and the Last Dragon, a Disney movie, was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful evening of renewing friendships in the Lord and in the parish.
What a great opportunity for us to gather together as a parish and school community!
Thanks to all who made this possible: sponsors, organizers, volunteers, and all those that joined us! It was great to see everyone again!
Stay tuned for info on next year’s festival!
